Thanks to the advocacy efforts of the Illinois State Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Practice Act allows dentist and dental hygienists that are new graduates to practice under the delegation of a licensed “supervising” dentist while awaiting licensure.

Every year, families across central Illinois go without the dental care they need. RAM saw it firsthand at their last clinic—and they know the demand will be even higher this summer.

The 2026 House of Delegates will be held August 28-29 at the Isle Casino Hotel in the Quad Cities.
